This line has taken from Liberty poet William Blake's masterpiece of children abuse of society is The Chimney Sweeper . This line reveals the state of hypocrisy attitude of parents. Parents sent their children for the hazardous work of chimney- sweeping but they goes to the church for prayer to God. Their religious profession contrast with their immoral and irreligious practices. The name of god serve as an excellent cover for doing all kinds of misdeed and exploitation of the poor.
