My Last Duchess as a Dramatic Monologue. How is the Duke present in the poem?

A Dramatic Monologue is characterized by a speaker, a silent listener, presentations of a state of crisis in the speaker etc. Robert Browning provided flesh and blood to his genre. His  poem like  "Last Ride Together"," Prophyria's Lover", "Fra Lippo Lippi"  are perfect examples of dramatic monologue. In My Last Duchess, the speaker is the Duke of Ferrara from whose speech the readers can visualise the picture of his Dutchess. To a convoy from the court of foreign Lord ,he reveals the crisis of his life which leads him to murder is suitable Duchess. This dramatic monologue amalgamated with joy and sadness, hope and desperate , love and hatred.

"That's my last Duchess painting on the wall,
 Looking as if you were alive"-
It is how the poem opens with to a convoy, the Duke points to his Dutchess. The painting of the Fra Pandolf resembles a piece of wonder, a Jem of painting and the great work of art. It is the outcome of Fra Pandolf's hardwork for a long day. Soon the Duke marks "depth" and "passion" earnest glance and even the The portrait but disappointed lies in that fact that he fails to get the entire glance to his beloved. One noteworthy feature of The Dramatic Monologue is the crisis of the part of the speaker. If the Last ride Together the speaker pines for a Last ride with his beloved, in this poem the speaker's crisis lies the down-to-earth attitude of his Dutchess . The Dutchess is used to get pleased at the presence of any common person, a fact gravely dislike by the Duke.
"...Sir, it was not/ her husband's presence only, it called the spot/ of joy that Dutchess cheek..."___
observes the Duke and this bring the mental frustrations of the Duke. She opened the door of mind that got glad soon and easily impressed. Her looks only when not fixed to the Duke but it went  everywhere,  slowly and humble nature of the Dutchess vexed the Duke. He was proud of" Nine- hundred years old name " so, he could not realise how she could give the  same value of his gift to others. The arrogant Duke says,"who'd stop to blame/ this sort of trifling " The Duke thought every parts of body of the duchess to touch the six senses to the Duke but totally gone in vain.
The Dutchess was really really charming and always in a Jolly mood with smile face. The Duke under the veneer of criticism,  unknowingly praises the Dutchess. The smile that she gave to the Duke was like to the same smile that she gave others. The climax of the poem takes the place when the Duke quotes :
" This grew; I gave commands;
 Then all smiles stopped together".
 So, the Duke lets his Dutchess murdered and thus stop all her smiles, cutting her genial spirit. The Dutchess's smile was stopped but however the Duke can never curve her human Nature.  Than the Duke asks the guest to go down and while descending his  draws attention to a fine bronze statue of Neptune. Being a possessive figure,he  is in need of a material possession  than spiritual company.
Thus Browning very masterfully though the Duke's speech presents the theme of the poem in a dramatic atmosphere and from all the perspectives of a Dramatic Monologue, My Last Duchess remains an acme  in the genre of Dramatic Monologue.

Tag question: the Duke possesses connoisseur pride in art and painting.He is very possessive and proud of hos Nine- hundred years old dynasty. He never hesitated to speak about his jealousy, cruelty and pride. He even does not hesitate to murdered his beloved Dutchess.
